The Protected Designation of Origin Dehesa de Extremadura took part yesterday, 29 May, in an enriching event organised by Extremadura Avante to showcase the outstanding work of the Designations of Origin and Protected Geographical Indications of our region.
Extremadura’s agri-food wealth conquered the capital in an exclusive event held at the Kitchen Club venue (Orense, 12), where over one hundred professionals from the press, distribution, and hospitality sectors had the opportunity to discover and taste the products covered by the 16 PDOs and PGIs of Extremadura.
The event stood out for an exquisite tasting of dishes prepared with products bearing quality seals, among which our 100% acorn-fed Iberian ham PDO Dehesa de Extremadura shone particularly brightly — a true emblem of our land and a benchmark of excellence.
Once again, Extremadura demonstrated in Madrid that its gastronomic heritage is one of the most complete and authentic in Spain. The Regional Ministry of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation, through Alimentos de Extremadura, reaffirms its commitment to promoting these quality labels and strengthens the presence of our products in one of the country’s main consumer markets.
