Temporary Change in the Presidency of the Regulatory Council until New Elections
We hereby inform you of a temporary change in the Presidency of our Regulatory Council.
Ms Elena Diéguez Garbayo, who has held the presidency of our Regulatory Council since the last elections, has decided to step down for personal reasons. We sincerely thank her for her dedication and leadership during this time, as well as her contribution to the development of our organisation.
In the meantime, and in accordance with our statutes, the Council has decided to appoint Mr Francisco Espárrago Carande, from the industrial sector and former Vice President, as interim President of the Council until the convening and holding of new elections later this year. Additionally, Mr Santiago Pérez Martínez, from the livestock sector, has been appointed Vice President.
The appointment of Francisco Espárrago Carande, who has extensive experience in the sector, ensures continuity and stability in the Council’s leadership during this transitional period.
